As middle school students wrapped up their “Not a Classroom” projects, they traded in the glue guns and cardboard to start working on self-portraits.

Our new Head Teacher of Visual Arts, Ryan McCarthy, has brought back strong drawing foundations and a return to ceramics in the high school studio program.
Fifth Grade Field Trip to Club Getaway
This year at Aaron School, fifth grade students had the opportunity to go on an extended day trip to Club Getaway in Kent, Connecticut!
The Aaron School Art Show Was A Hit!
The Art Show this year was a culmination of the year-long theme Anything Can Happen in Art, which was originally inspired by the book Not a Box and by “TASK” an improvisational art activity inspired by contemporary artist Oliver Herring.

Sixth Graders Explore Philadelphia
In March, the Aaron School sixth graders went on an overnight trip to Philadelphia. The group had been looking forward to the trip all year and their excitement helped make the trip a true success.
