The Finish Line: 24-25 Senior Projects

  |   Aaron School, Special Programs

At Aaron 30th Street, our Seniors are wrapping up their high school journey by preparing to present their Senior Project to the students, faculty and administration. This was a year-long research project on a selected topic of high interest, and required students to invest a great deal of time and passion to generate a presentation that highlights their growth as both learners and individuals.

Each Senior Project included several important components: a proposal, in-depth research, a creative component, a presentation, journal entries, and a final reflection. Students spent the entire school year brainstorming, researching, writing, and editing their work. They were guided throughout the year by their Advance Mentors, but still had full ownership of the projects in terms of the information selected and the style of presentation they chose.

A unique and exciting part of the Senior Project is the creative component, which often aligns with the physical product that each student designs and brings their topic to life. This might be a video, a look book, an app, a podcast, a survey, a game, or any number of innovative creations that reflect their interests and ideas.

This years incredible projects were titled:

  • Personal Finance
  • Which Pet is Right For You?
  • Preparing For Life After High School
  • How To Maintain Your Energy
  • Heart To Heart: A Guide To Dating and Communication
  • The Art of Dressing
  • Self Defense and Risk Management

We are so proud to celebrate these seniors for their hard work, creativity, and dedication throughout this process, and also during their incredible careers at Aaron School. We can’t wait to see what they will accomplish in the next chapter of their journeys!
